SSC Constable (GD) Notification 2026 — Apply Online for CAPFs, SSF & Assam Rifles
Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles for the year 2026. The selection process includes a Computer Based Examination (CBE), followed by PET/PST, Detailed Medical Examination and Document Verification conducted by CAPFs. Applications are to be submitted online only through the SSC portal within the prescribed dates. Basic eligibility includes Matric/10th pass, age 18–23 years as on 01.01.2026 (with relaxations as per rules) and Pay Level-3: ₹21,700–69,100. How to Apply
- Visit SSC website: Go to the official SSC portal ssc.gov.in and open the link for “Constable (GD) Examination 2026”.
- New Registration / Login: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if you are a new user; otherwise login using your Registration ID and password.
- Fill Online Form: Select the GD Constable exam, fill in personal, educational and preference details carefully as per your documents.
- Upload Documents: Upload recent passport photo & signature (and other documents, if asked) in the prescribed size and format.
- Pay Fee & Submit: Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and finally submit the form. Take a print/ PDF of the submitted application for future reference.
