✅ Who Can Apply
- Gender: Women and gender-minority women are eligible.
- Locality: Must be a resident of the same revenue village/ward as the Anganwadi centre (see Local Residence block).
🎓 Educational Qualification
- Anganwadi Worker: PUC (12th). Must have studied Kannada as 1st/2nd language in SSLC.
- Anganwadi Helper: SSLC (10th) or equivalent. Should have Kannada as 1st/2nd language; if not, the committee may assess Kannada ability at selection time.
- Priority (+5 bonus): Candidates with ECCE Diploma (DSERT), JOC, NTT, or relevant Nutrition/Home Science/Pre-primary training receive preference.
Note: Rules for open schooling/other states follow the guideline specifics; local SSLC norms prevail if marking schemes differ.
🏠 Local Residence Criteria
- Rural centres: Must reside in the same revenue village (including majire/tanda/haadi as applicable).
- Urban centres: Must reside in the same revenue ward (election wards are not considered).
- Proof: 3-year residence certificate from Tahsildar/Deputy Tahsildar plus Aadhaar/Ration Card/Voter ID as supporting proofs.
⏳ Age Limit
Age criteria for both posts:
- Minimum: 19 years
- Maximum: 35 years
- Relaxation: As per WCD/Karnataka government rules

🖥️ How to Apply Online

- Stage 1: Fill the online application form carefully with personal, address and education details.
- Stage 2: Upload applicant’s signature & photograph, then complete the e-Sign step (mandatory).
- Stage 3: Upload all required documents in the prescribed formats (see checklist below).
- Stage 4: After successful upload, submit and then download/print the application.

📝 Selection Process
- Application window: normally at least 1 month as per guidelines.
- Scrutiny & committee: Within 7 working days after last date, the selection committee (≥2/3 quorum) reviews applications and prepares a provisional merit list.
- Objections: Candidates get 7 days to file objections; the committee reviews and publishes the final merit list.
- Merit basis: Academic marks (+ bonus marks where applicable). No written exam/interview unless specifically notified.
- Appointment: Final orders issued by the Deputy Director; posts are honorarium (not permanent).
