🔍 Selection Process
Merit-Based Selection
Selection will be purely based on merit, calculated as the average percentage of marks in:Class 10th (Minimum 50% required) and
ITI (in relevant trade)
➤ Example: If a candidate scores 80.85% in 10th and 91.68% in ITI, the average = (80.85 + 91.68)/2 = 86.13%
Tie-Breaker Rules
If two candidates have the same average, the older candidate will be selected.
If age is also the same, the one who passed 10th earlier will be preferred.
No Subject Filtering
No ‘best of 5’ or ‘best of 4’ rules — total aggregate marks will be considered.
Document Verification (DV)
Candidates up to 1.5 times the number of vacancies will be called for DV based on merit.
DV shortlisting is done 1:1 based on the candidate’s chosen unit/trade. Once selected for DV in one unit/trade, the candidate will not be considered elsewhere.
DV Preference for Extra Candidates (0.5 of 1.5 ratio)
These additional candidates may be allowed to appear for DV in other units only if the option is given in their application.
Final Selection
Final allotment depends on merit and availability of seats in the candidate’s chosen trade/unit.
Only one trade/unit will be allotted per candidate.
