• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engg.
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engg.
• Technician Apprentice (Telecom & Instrumentation): 3-year full-time Diploma in EC, E&TC, E&RC, Instrumentation & Control, Instrumentation & Process Control, or Electronics Engg.
• Trade Apprentice (Assistant–HR): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline).
• Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full-time B.Com.
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass (below Graduate).
• Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate): 12th Pass (below Graduate) + Skill Certificate “Domestic Data Entry Operator” (< 1 year).

🎂 Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.08.2025.

• SC/ST: +5 years
• OBC (NCL): +3 years
• PwBD: +10 years (plus SC/ST +5, OBC +3, as applicable)

💳 Application Fee

The official advertisement does not specify any application fee. Application/registration is through NATS/NAPS and the IOCL Pipelines portal. If anyone demands money, treat it as fraud.

✅ Selection Process

• Merit List based on aggregate percentage in the essential qualification for the trade.
• No Written Test / No Interview.
• Tie-break: Older candidate (earlier DOB) preferred; if same, higher Matriculation percentage.
• Medical Fitness as per IOCL pre-engagement standards is mandatory.
• Not eligible if already undergone apprenticeship, have ≥1 year job/training after qualification, or completed 5 years since qualification by cut-off.

💼 Stipend

Stipend is payable as prescribed under the Apprentices Act/Rules and IOCL guidelines.

Note: During apprenticeship, no additional facilities like accommodation, HRA, conveyance, or medical are admissible; candidates arrange these on their own.

⏳ Duration of Apprenticeship Training

12 months from the date of engagement.

5. Karnataka tip: Choose SRPL region and give Bengaluru preference for place of training when preferences are collected.
