Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Qualification

  • Any Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • Must know the local language prescribed by the RRB (for Karnataka: Kannada/Konkani as applicable).
  • Basic computer skills are an advantage.

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Profiles with studies in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, IT, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy are preferred.
  • Local language proficiency required.
  • Computer knowledge desirable.

Officer Scale-II — General Banking Officer (Manager)

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks overall.
  • Preference for Banking/Finance/Marketing/Agriculture & allied subjects/IT/Management/Law/Economics/Accountancy.

  • 2 years as an officer in a Bank/Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II — Specialist Officers (Manager)

Information Technology

  • Bachelor’s in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/IT (or equivalent) with 50%+.
  • Extra credit for tech certifications (e.g., ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP).

Experience

  • 1 year in the relevant field.

Chartered Accountant

  • CA (ICAI) — Certified Associate.

Experience

  • 1 year as a Chartered Accountant.

Law Officer

  • LL.B or equivalent with 50%+.

Experience

  • 2 years as Advocate or Law Officer in Banks/Financial Institutions.

Treasury Manager

  • CA or MBA (Finance) from a recognised institution.

Marketing Officer

  • MBA (Marketing).

Age Relaxation (upper-age)

  • Ex-Servicemen Officers (for Officer posts): +5 years (as per Govt. ceiling).
  • Widows/Divorced/Legally Separated (not remarried) — Office Assistant only: up to 35 (General/EWS), 38 (OBC), 40 (SC/ST).

🧩 Exam Pattern

Prelims (OA & Officer Scale I)

  • 80 questions / 80 marks — Reasoning (40/40, 25 min) and Numerical/Quant (40/40, ~20–25 min).
  • Sectional cut-offs; qualify to be shortlisted for Mains.

Mains (OA & Officer Scale I)

  • 200 questions / 200 marks / 120 minutes.
  • Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English or Hindi, and Numerical/Quant.

Single Exam (Officer Scale II & III)

Objective test with Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi, and (for Specialists) Professional Knowledge.

⚠️ Negative marking: 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer in all objective tests.

📝 How to Apply (01–28 Sept 2025)

  1. Go to ibps.inCRP RRBs.
  2. Choose the correct link: CRP-RRBs Office Assistants or CRP-RRBs Officers (Scale I/II/III).
  3. Click New Registration, note your provisional Reg. No. & Password.
  4. Upload photo, signature, LTI, handwritten declaration, Class 10 certificate, and applicable certificates (per spec).
  5. Select Karnataka for provisional allotment (OA & Scale I) and choose your test medium (Kannada/Konkani/English/Hindi).
  6. Pay the fee online and submit. No changes allowed after final submission.

🌿 Karnataka Focus

  • Test Medium: For Karnataka, you can choose English / Hindi / Kannada / Konkani in the application form. Select carefully — this cannot be changed later.
  • Local Language Proficiency: Kannada/Konkani proficiency is required as prescribed by the RRB. Keep documents ready if asked.
