๐ Educational Qualification
- 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board (as on 21-Oct-2025).
- Relaxable up to 11th pass for wards of Delhi Police personnel/MTS and certain Delhi Police categories (bandsmen, drivers, etc.).
- Male candidates must have a valid LMV driving licence (Motorcycle/Car) by the PE&MT date. Learnerโs licence is not accepted.

- Upper-age relaxations: SC/ST 5 yrs; OBC 3 yrs; ESM per rules; departmental Delhi Police candidates up to 40/43/45 yrs (UR/OBC/SC-ST); widows/divorced/judicially separated women 5 yrs; wards of DP/MTS up to 29 yrs, etc.

- All-India recruitment: Karnataka residents are fully eligible; no Delhi domicile required.
- Reservation rules: Use Central category certificates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) in the prescribed formats. State-only formats may not be accepted.
- Language of CBT: Paper is in English/Hindi. Prepare GK with a national focus; Karnataka-specific GK helps for general awareness but the exam is national.
- Exam city: Choose your nearest SSC test city in Karnataka (e.g., Bengaluru) when filling the form. Final allocation depends on availability.
