Raichur: Free Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Training with License – Applications Invited

The Office of the Deputy Director (Rural Industries), Department of Industries & Commerce, Zilla Panchayat, Raichur is inviting online applications from rural unemployed youth (men & women) for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Training with License under the “Skilled Workers Training Associations Scheme” for the year 2025–26. This initiative aims to equip eligible candidates with employable driving skills and a valid LMV license, opening pathways to jobs in logistics, delivery, transport, and allied services across Karnataka.

Training & Seat Distribution

Training: Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving – with License issuance upon successful completion.
Seats: Taluk-wise and category-wise distribution as specified in the official notification. Candidates must apply only for their own taluk; applications mapped to a different taluk will be rejected.

Eligibility & Education

• Applicant must be a rural resident of Raichur district with a valid village residence certificate (Panchayat Development Officer).
• Urban/municipal area residents (City Corporation, City Municipal Council, Town Municipal Council limits) are not eligible.
• Minimum education: SSLC / Class 10 pass.
• Already holding an LMV License? Then you are not eligible.
• Government employees and their dependents cannot apply.
• Age: 18 to 45 years.
• One application per person; only one candidate per family may apply.

1. Proof of Date of Birth (Marks card or Transfer Certificate)
2. SSLC/Class 10 Marks card or TC
3. Caste Certificate (only for SC/ST/Minorities, if applicable)

6. Village Residence Certificate from PDO
7. Recent Passport-size Photograph

Note: Uploads must be clear and legible; unclear documents will lead to rejection. Keep originals and a photocopy set until the selection process is completed; originals will be verified at training time.

Training Details & Attendance

The LMV driving training runs for 30 days at taluk-wise empanelled training institutes. Daily attendance is compulsory. Successful completion leads to LMV License issuance as per the program norms, helping candidates transition quickly into driver roles in the private sector.

Selection Process

• Applications will be screened for eligibility and document completeness.
• If the number of valid applications exceeds the target, selection will be through a lottery conducted by the committee.
• The committee’s decision is final.

1. Visit the official Raichur district portal and open the online application form for LMV Driving Training (2025–26).
2. Fill in accurate personal, educational, and taluk details. Apply only for your own taluk.
3. Upload the required self-attested documents in clear, readable scans.
4. Submit the application within the window 08-09-2025 to 08-10-2025 and save/print the acknowledgment.
5. Keep the original application printout and all originals ready for verification if selected.
