Railway JE Recruitment 2025 — Junior Engineer, DMS & CMA (CEN 05/2025)

Indian Railways has announced the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment under CEN 05/2025 for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The posts are in Pay Level-6 (₹35,400) with admissible allowances.

Selection Process

CBT-1 (Common for JE/DMS/CMA)

90 mins (120 mins for scribe). 100 questions covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. Negative marking: 1/3 per wrong answer. Scores are normalized and used to shortlist for CBT-2.

CBT-2 (Post/Discipline-specific)

120 mins. 150 questions across GA, Physics & Chemistry, Basics of Computers, Basics of Environment & Pollution Control, and a large Technical Abilities paper in the opted discipline. Negative marking: 1/3 per wrong answer. Normalized CBT-2 marks form the basis for merit.

Document Verification (DV)

Candidates are called for DV strictly in order of merit (community-wise) based on normalized CBT-2 marks and post preferences. Originals/supporting certificates are required.

Medical Examination

Post-wise medical standards as prescribed by Indian Railways (e.g., A-3/B-1/B-2/C-1) must be met for final appointment.

Submit & download the final application PDF/acknowledgement and keep it for DV.
