🎓 Educational Qualification (as on 01-09-2025)
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General: Graduation with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR Post-graduation with 55% (pass for SC/ST/PwBD). Recognised 3-year Grad / 2-year PG or equivalent professional/technical programmes are acceptable.
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR: MA/MSc in Economics-related disciplines or MA/MSc in Finance-related disciplines with 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). “Economics/Finance” must be the principal constituent of the curriculum.
- Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM:
- Master’s (55%; 50% for SC/ST/PwBD) in Statistics/Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics/Quantitative Economics/Econometrics/Informatics or related; OR
- Master’s (55%) in Data Science/AI/ML/Big Data Analytics or related; OR

🧭 Mode of Selection
- Common Framework: Phase-I, Phase-II and Interview. Shortlisting to next stages is based on cut-offs decided by the Board.
- Grade ‘B’ (General): Phase-I (Objective), Phase-II (Paper-I ESI; Paper-II English; Paper-III General Finance & Management — mix of objective + descriptive) and Interview (75 marks). Personality Assessment before interview (no marks).
- Grade ‘B’ (DEPR): Phase-I (Economics Objective + English Descriptive), Phase-II (two Descriptive Economics papers) and Interview.
- Grade ‘B’ (DSIM): Paper-I Statistics (Objective), Paper-II Statistics (Descriptive – written), Paper-III English (Descriptive) and Interview.

💼 Pay Scale & Emoluments
Starting basic pay ₹78,450/- in the scale ₹78,450–4,050(9)–1,14,900–EB–4,050(2)–1,23,000–4,650(4)–1,41,600 (16 years) with admissible allowances. Approx. initial gross emoluments (without HRA) are ₹1,50,374/-. If RBI accommodation is not provided, HRA @ 15% of basic pay is payable.
