SHIMUL Recruitment 2025 — 194 Posts (Shivamogga, Davanagere & Chitradurga)
Shivamogga, Davanagere and Chitradurga District Co-operative Milk Producers Societies Union Ltd. (SHIMUL), Shivamogga has issued a recruitment notification for a total of
194 posts in various cadres including Assistant Managers, MIS/System Officer, Market Officers, Technical Officers, Chemists, Extension Officers, Assistants, Junior System Operators, Stenographers and Junior Technicians.
Applications must be submitted online only through the official website www.shimul.coop; applications sent by hand, post or courier will not be accepted. The online application window is open from 14 November 2025 to 14 December 2025, and the prescribed application fee has to be paid within the same period.
Selection will be through a written examination (200 marks) followed by a viva-voce (15 marks), and the final merit list will be prepared as per reservation rules and co-operative recruitment norms. Candidates are advised to read the detailed Kannada notification carefully before applying.

Age Limit — As on 14 December 2025
The minimum age for all categories is 18 years. The upper age limit is calculated as on 14-12-2025 and is different for each reservation category. A one-time 3-year special relaxation is available for eligible Government / Co-operative institution employees as mentioned in the notification.

Application Fee
Candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee as per their reservation category. The fee is to be paid online only, and bank/transaction charges are extra.

Selection Process — Written Exam & Interview
Selection of candidates will be done as per the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Rules and Government Order dated 16-09-2020. The recruitment process consists of a written examination followed by a viva-voce (Interview).
The exam will be of objective type and conducted for a total of 200 marks. As per the notification, marks are broadly distributed as follows:
- Kannada Language – 50 marks
- General Knowledge – 25 marks
- General Science / related topics – 25 marks
- Co-operative Sector / Co-operation Acts & Rules – 50 marks
- Constitution of India – 25 marks
- Current Affairs & contemporary issues – 25 marks
- Stage 1 — Written Examination: All eligible applicants will appear for the written test. Based on the marks secured, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1 : 5 (five candidates for every one vacancy, category-wise).
- Stage 2 — Interview (Viva-voce): Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview carrying a maximum of 15 marks. Communication skills, subject knowledge and suitability for the co-operative sector posts will be assessed.
- Final Merit List: Final selection will be based on the combined performance in the written examination and Interview, subject to verification of original documents and reservation norms of the Co-operative sector.
