The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the detailed notification for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2026 under CEN 01/2026. 🎓 RRB ALP Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must have passed Matriculation/SSLC/10th Class along with one of the prescribed technical qualifications given below. The qualification must be obtained from a recognised Board, University, Institute, NCVT or SCVT, as applicable.
SSLC/10th with ITI
Candidates must have passed SSLC/Matriculation and possess an ITI certificate from an NCVT/SCVT-recognised institution in one of the notified trades.
SSLC with Act Apprenticeship
Candidates who have passed SSLC/Matriculation along with a Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in any of the notified trades are also eligible.
SSLC with Diploma or Degree
Candidates must have passed SSLC/Matriculation along with a three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile Engineering, or a combination of streams in these engineering disciplines.
A recognised Degree in the same engineering disciplines is also accepted in place of the Diploma.
