Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through Tier-I and Tier-II Computer-Based Examinations, followed by post preference submission, document verification and post-specific physical or medical tests wherever applicable.

Tier-I Computer-Based Examination

Tier-I consists of objective multiple-choice questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Candidates are shortlisted category-wise for Tier-II based on their Tier-I marks and the applicable cut-off.

Tier-II Computer-Based Examination

Candidates who qualify Tier-I will appear for Tier-II. Paper-I is compulsory for all posts, while Paper-II and Paper-III apply only to candidates shortlisted for specified posts.

Paper-I: Compulsory for All Posts Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge Test and Data Entry Speed Test.
Paper-II: Statistics Applicable to Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II posts.
Paper-III: Finance and Economics Applicable to Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer posts.
Qualifying Skill Modules Computer Knowledge Test and Data Entry Speed Test are qualifying in nature, with higher standards for certain posts.

Log In to the SSC Portal

Log in using the registration number and password generated during OTR. An OTR created on the old ssc.nic.in website cannot be used on the new SSC portal.

Under the Latest Notifications section, locate Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026 and click the Apply link.

Fill in the Application Details

Enter the required educational qualification, category, age-relaxation, examination-centre preferences, examination medium and post-specific eligibility details. Provide disability or scribe information wherever applicable.

Capture a live photograph using a webcam or mobile device. Use a well-lit place with a plain background, keep the camera at eye level and look directly at the camera.

Upload a clear scanned signature in JPEG or JPG format. The signature file should be between 10 KB and 20 KB. Blurred or miniature signatures may lead to rejection.
