7,150 Apprentices across India under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
A total of 276 apprentice training seats have been notified for

Candidates who successfully complete the SBI apprenticeship may receive
weightage or relaxation in Junior Associate recruitment,

Apprenticeship Certificate
Successful completion requires passing the prescribed
skill evaluation or trade test and obtaining the joint
National Apprenticeship Certificate.
No additional allowances: Apprentices are not eligible for
any allowance or employee benefit apart from the notified monthly stipend.
Important: This is apprenticeship training and not regular
or contractual employment with SBI. Completion of the training does not
guarantee a permanent job in the Bank.

Merit list: Selection will be based on aggregate marks and prepared state-wise and category-wise. There is no interview.
